Martin Charitable Trust has donated Rs. 5.5 Lakh worth of oxygen concentrators


What came as a novel virus in the year 2019 has flipped the entire world, upside down. Not even a single individual could have imagined or predicted the devastating effect of this virus on multiple walks of life. The impact of this deadly pandemic on India is no different. People from various states across the subcontinent have suffered due to the worsening situation of the virus this year. Tamil Nadu was one of those many states involved.

In order to help the people of Tamil Nadu fight Covid-19, the Martin Foundation has made several donations and contributions. It has played a key role in defeating this pandemic through financial assistance such as funds, relief materials, etc.

As a part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Activity, the Martin Group extended its support to the people of Coimbatore during these challenging times. People affected by COVID-19 are being treated at the Government Medical College and ESI Hospital. Amid the frenzy of admissions for COVID-19 treatment in Coimbatore, in order to help fight the current crisis of oxygen for the COVID-19 patients, Leema Rose Martin, the Managing Trustee of Martin Charitable Trust has donated Rs. 5.5 Lakh worth of oxygen concentrators. This includes three 10 litre oxygen concentrators and four 7 litre oxygen concentrators to both Government Medical College and ESI Hospital.

Martin Group handed over 5.5 Lakh worth of oxygen concentrators amidst the presence of Government Hospital Dean Dr. Nirmala and ESI Hospital Dean Dr. Raveendran.

The Martin Charitable Trust has a long history of working with a variety of Social, Cultural, Educational, and Healthcare institutions. It has time and again given its all to promote equality and provide a better quality of life to the citizens of our subcontinent. The entire group prays and wishes for the healing and betterment of the people of Tamil Nadu and the rest of the world from this ongoing crisis.
