Martin Charitable trust donates 1 Lakh to schools of Tamil Nadu

The vast disparities between rural and urban, rich and poor, employed and unemployed, have divided the Indian population into different categories. According to Santiago Martin, a change is needed which will only come when people are well educated and aware of their surroundings.

Education plays an integral role in Indian culture and economic development of India. It is essential to deliver education in an atmosphere that not only maximizes its accessibility but also its effectiveness. A good learning environment and atmosphere will not only help students learn and gain knowledge but will also make them grow and develop skills to perform better.

We at Martin Charitable Trust, aim at adopting schools and making them self-sufficient to educate students by creating a pleasant environment in the school. We believe in an education that not only ensures learning but also pays attention to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the students.

In order to help schools create and develop such a learning environment, Martin Charitable Trust donated Rs. 1 Lakh to schools of Tamil Nadu. Mrs. Leema Rose Martin, the Managing Trustee of Martin Charitable Trust, donated Rs. 1 Lakh to Loyola Higher Secondary School, Dindigul, and Rs. 1 Lakh to Patriciyar Middle School, Madurai, for building their basic infrastructure facilities.

The money was donated as a part of Martin Charitable Trust’s outreach program.
